But down in Tasmania (and Victoria) it was a different world; winter arrived with a blizzard in the Victorian alps and in Tassie it was just as bleak.

Bet you're glad you made the move up north now, Bruce. We've been struggling to get above the mid-20s here for several days because of the ruddy Jetstream dragging cool air from the north but we're hoping to get into the 30s next week. Summer's taking a long time coming!

ReplyDeleteThe cooler weather we're experiencing now that Autumn is here is very welcome....but it certainly isn't as cold as Hobart nor Canberra!
